A Very Exciting Announcement

A Very Exciting Announcement

Our name, Leaders for Leaders, reflects our mission to pursue both profit AND purpose.  This means that 10% of our yearly profit is invested in the development of young leaders – aspiring difference makers who face economic challenges that are holding them back from realizing their full potential.

This part of our story began with Nancy, who lived in Nairobi, Kenya; we supported her university tuition.  In the picture you see above, Nancy and I are at her university graduation. She graduated with an honours business degree that specialized in micro-lending.  Now, she is using this education to help transform her community.

We then had the privilege of supporting the university education of Doreen in Kampala, Uganda.  Doreen recently graduated with a master’s degree in education. This video shows the unforgettable moment when Doreen and my wife, Becky, met in person.  After years of letter-writing and online encouragement, this was the first time they met face to face.

Now, I am incredibly excited to introduce you to Marlon.  She lives in the Dominican Republic and has been raised in a situation of extreme poverty.  We have been able to financially support Marlon through elementary and high school.  We recently found out that Marlon has been accepted into medical school to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a doctor.  Through our partnership with Compassion Canada, we have the incredible opportunity to support Marlon throughout the 5-year program.

Way to go Marlon!I want you to know that YOU are a big part of this story.  Thanks to clients and partners like you, Leaders for Leaders continues to grow and make a global impact.  This is making our vision of profit AND purpose more of a reality every day.  Thank you for being part of this adventure with us.

Thank you,

Tim Arnold
